Honda Accord LX 2005. 4 cyl.How to change front brake pads in Honda Accord 2005?check out my 360 page my blog covers it very wellHow to change front brake pads in Honda Accord 2005?1 First jack up the wheel that you need to work on. Turn the lug nuts 1 full turn while wheel on ground, jack the car up and take out all lug nuts.

2 The wheel is out of the way, you should be able to see the brake caliper. Undo the bottom nuts, and entire caliper can be slide up and pads will fall out.

3 Before installing new brake pads, the old brake piston must be pushed back. I use 7%26quot; C clamp.

4 Put the new pads in, place and tighten the caliper bolds %26amp; mount the wheel, and tighten the lug nuts.

pretty easy, but takes practice. I can usually do 30 minutes per wheel.

In step 3, some mechanics don't like to press all that brake fluid in reverse direction (they believe that it can harm ABS controller or brake master cylinder) so they might open up the caliper bleed valve and let the fluid come out instead of pushing it all the way up to the master cylinder. You would need to be careful not to introduce air in the system or you would need to bleed the system. How to change front brake pads in Honda Accord 2005?Here are general photos of front disc pad replacement steps:
