How do you change brake pads and rotors for a 1996 dodge grand caravan?

is this a simple job? what tools do i need? is there an online diagram, or video that i can see, please help Thanks! How do you change brake pads and rotors for a 1996 dodge grand caravan?Take the cap off the master cylinder (where you put the brake fluid in). Remove the wheels. Remove the 2 bolts holding the calipers on, and slide the calipers off of the rotors. Do not let them hang by the hoses. Tie them to something with some bailing wire, etc. Remove the two bolts that hold the caliper mounting brackets to the hub assembly. The rotors shold pull right off. If not, beat 'em with a hammer like you mean it until they pop off. Installation is the reverse of removal except you're gonna need a decent sized C-clamp to push the pistons on the calipers back in. Do this nice and easy and real slow. The reason you took the cap off the master cylinder is to allow the fluid to back up when you compress the caliper pistons.

Tools-wise: basic hand tools, and you might need to find a torx bit for the caliper bolts. C-clamp

Your best bet ist to go get a Haynes manual for it when you by the parts. It has complete intructions and pictures.
